Everything and Nothing

Chat with her online for right now, my friends say.
Don't give her your email address.
Don't give her your phone number.
What if she's an ax murderer?

After three days of chatting online, she had piqued my curiosity. Clever and smart. Funny and sophisticated. Ever the smart ass. I immediately like her. She will not let up about giving her my number. She hates to type. Give her a break, she says.

What harm can come from talking on the phone? She promises that my phone is going to ring shortly.

Immediately, my phone rings with a Georgia number. And quits after one ring. Odd.

I ring back the same number.

"I only said your phone would ring. I didn't say I was going to talk to you!"

The nerve! She made me call her.

For the first time I hear her voice. Deep and sexy with just a hint of having lived most of her life in the South after growing up in the North. Her voice turns me to mush.

She pursues me, when all I want to do is date. After ten years with the same woman, I think I deserve a little strange. I'm not ready for a serious relationship.

She continues to call every day.

Sometimes, I let the phone ring even though ever fiber of my being wants to answer it. What could she want? She calls my other number. She emails. Within a few minutes, the weak and curious me gives in and I call her back.

"I just wanted to say hi", she engages me. She wanted to know how my day was going. For God's sake, it's a Tuesday! Nothing's going. It's just the same old boring day doing the same old things. And yet, I felt that spark. Like something was going on.

We would end up talking for hours about everthing and nothing.

Queen: It was!

Tina: I have nuances? FABULOUS! LOL You'll never need forgiveness, sweets!

Vixen: It still gives me the tinglies when I think about it. Thought it would be a nice way to get away from the recent nastiness!

When I was single we called the the "Skull F**k" getting in a persons head and making them have the curiosity for me. Stops the pursuit and now it becomes more of a sit and wait. once you did that She KNEW she had you!!!
Both of you gained and that is the great part...
Ask my wife ;) She asked to marry me even after knowing of several others as well as ALL of the exwives!!

I know this story...I participated in it last October...Emails...then phone conversations...then one drink...

then more phone calls and more emails and finally a real date...

And it was more blissful then I could have imagined...

Have a Grand weekend...

Those northern gals who've transplanted to the south are special ones, aren't they? I had to marry mine too! No wonder we connect so well, RLL! We have so much in common! Wow, I was away for a few days and the everything exploded over here, huh? I was gobsmacked when I finally got to catch up. Well, I'm glad you're back to writing about you and your girl. Those ex's are history, let's leave them there ;)

This is a great time to be jumping into your blog. So much to read about! Yeah, I'm 'a stranger', trying to follow a little of the stories below, but sometimes you just feel connected to people and like their energy. I feel more comfortable with 'strangers' online sometimes than I do members of my own family as is the case with many people. It was your tale to tell from your point of view on your own blog. I don't need to know the other person's side. I've chosen to visit here. And even though we've never met and probably never will, I'm still real glad that you've found someone who makes you so happy and has shown you love.
