Creep

When it looks like this:

and I walk outside and see this...

I know that someone uninvited has been creeping around my house. I found these tracks Sunday morning after no tracks were there Saturday. The snow was perfect, so I knew that I'd been visited.

Today, someone broke into a neighbor's house. We live in a tiny subdivision. Tonight, we all had dinner together. Now, we all know each other. We have everyone's phone number and know what each other drives.

Watch out, mutherfucka'.

Get the shotgun out and ready!

That is freaking scary. If anything like that happened at my house, I'd probably have stay in a hotel for a few weeks.

sounds like the beginning of a neighborhood watch.

I'd take that picture of the boot track to the police station and let them know someone is snooping around. And yes, keep a gun loaded if you have one.

Eew! Just EEEEWW!

Getting the neighborhood involved and aware is the best way to combat the creeps!

Now that is creepy, watch out!

Luckily, the neighbor that had us all over IS a cop and I forwarded the bootprint to him to match up with the ones found at the burglarized home.

We are fortunate to have two cops in our little 'hood.

And yes, we are all packing. Creep, say hello to my 410. ;)

those are some nice boots for a deer...

your 410 would blow a nice size hole in the culprit - time to install a camera...

I recommend a belt-fed weapon on a motion sensor, but I have always tended to over react a tad...

you have dogs, right? burglars don't like dogs...

So let me get this right, you have gays for festive fun and cops to keep you safe? I am moving to your neighborhood!

You're so going CSI Miami on this jagoff, I hope!!
I'm envisioning boobie traps too! (since you love them) :)

Hope things are safe and sound. Do you have an adt alarm stickers you can place around your house?
Or perhaps a big ass sign that says: :A COP LIVES HERE AND IS WATCHING YOU ON THE HIDDEN CAMERA YOU DOUCHEBAG!

Just make sure you carry around a huge strap on and that will scare off any intruders! Ha.

I had some unexplained prints like that myself recently. Now, I keep seeing things out the windows...keep your guard up.

ho honey: next time you all gather together see which one has that shoe print and you'll have your visitor. is the shoe big to suggest it belongs to a male or smaller to suggest a woman.

It's most likely someone in the area and maybe one that you had dinner with.

Just saying...be careful. xxx

If that's your photo with that pretty pup, I doubt anybody will be messing with you!

That's happened to us too. It just goes to prove that whoever it is isn't very smart - if they were they wouldn't visit in the snow and leave footprints would they?

The real creepy thing about it is that someone can do this, and might well be doing it, the other 3 seasons and you'd have no idea.

Yep take care like lu said. They won't let us have guns here...only the criminals have them.

I think BigFoot took one look in the window, saw your mighty self and ran for his life, or, at least, unfortunately, ran for the neighbor's house. Seriously, sorry about the break in. Good luck with the n'hood watch patrol.

Ugh, scary. I'm always analyzing the footprints in the snow at my mother's house: Meals on Wheels, postman, meter man...I found a flip-flop in the ground cover plants outside one of her bedroom window last summer, and have been kind of freaked out since.

Get 'em!
