Busted

On my way back from the bank and the post office, I popped in an old Pink CD. I know all of the words...and naturally started singing. A guy pulled up next to me and started laughing. I hope I made his day, but it didn't stop me from singing in the car.

Find a song you love and sing on the way home in the car. It's good for your soul.

At least you were singing, that makes some sense. I have been busted arguing with a talk show idiot, and that just doesn't look good at all to the driver next to you!

I did that the other day with a Janet Jackson Greatest Hits CD.

It could be worse. Someone heard me singing AND dancing to a Kids Bop CD the other day. Granted, L was in the car and had requested it, and I do it to annoy him, :) but still. I like Pink!

I have been known to try to sing songs by "the crash test dummies" and you need, like, three nuts to sing that low. I try anyway :P

Pink's good, but I rock out to Just Dance by Lady GaGa, not only do I sing...I dance too. I think I've stopped traffic before as they watch the MA Fat Woman take a turn around her Mustang.

I was busted singing along to Cinderella's Somebody Save Me...

so what if we sing in our cars,or argue with talk show knuckleheads while we drive,if I have brought a smile to someone that I made the day worthwhile for me.

I love singing loud in the car. Where else can you sing at the top of your lungs and know that you won't be heard? One of my faves to sing is Sinaed Oconnor's Downpressor Man, "If you run to the rocks, The rocks will be melting"

When I'm in the car, I like the sweet sound of silence. LOL.

I did that earlier in the week with The Eagles' "Hotel California," windows down and everything. I had an old Spanish guy look at me like I was crazy and when I smiled at him, he turned away. :)

There is nothing better than people thinking that they busted you singing to yourself...except when you continue to sing, to THEM.

P.S. Love me some Pink - going to see her in August!!

Sometimes when I am singing in the car, and the people driving by notice I rock out even harder, it seems to make the laugh. :)

It is good for the soul. The one time hubby tried to shush me I told him he sucked :) I don't think he has tried it again or have I not tried it again. See I sing and dance while sitting :)

I sing along to the radio all the time in the car - I don't care what people think! :)

I have three modes; Silence. Listening to a book. Or metal cranked up REALLY LOUD! When it is loud I bang my head and sing (probably to the dismay of my fellow travelers).

I was in the grocery store last week, and a Kelly Clarkson song came on. I'm not necessarily a fan, but it's a catchy song, and I found myself singing out loud. Then I realized that someone on the next aisle was singing, and it was a guy. I rounded the corner and this cute teenage boy who worked there was singing, and he got embarrassed when he saw me. So I said "It's okay, I was singing over on the other aisle," and then we both started singing again as I walked away.

It is good for your soul, even if you don't necessarily love the song.

I got "caught" making my bike vlog. Someone snuck up behind me on a bike and gave me a look like I had two heads!

I think next time I'll sing!!

It's just another reason cars and showers were created! :)

I thought it was one of those unwritten rules...you're supposed to sing as loud as possible in the car and the shower ;)

In my car and at church are the only places I'm allowed to sing. If I sing around the house, Old Dog comes rushing in wanting to know if I've hurt myself.

At least you weren't picking your nose! I love singing to Meat Loaf in the car, other drivers be damned!

This made me think of Fast Time at Ridgemont High when Brad Hamilton was wearing that pirate uniform and the hot girl (Nancy Wilson) pulled up in the car next to him and started giggling.

I LOVE to sing in the SUV. And, I really love it when Lil'Gal sings with me!

Taylor Swift is big in our vehicle. I dance too, while driving. Car dancing...

I was at a stoplight with the window down and was singing at the top of my lungs, without thinking. I heard clapping and turned at a whole mess of pedestrians were clapping for me..heh
