We're Okay

Thanks to everyone who have been checking in on me. I'm about 15 minutes as the crow flies from Murfreesboro, TN where 7 tornados hit earlier today.

Scary stuff.

Link to local news.

I was in Southern Missouri with all the tornado watches last night. Luckily there was only some hail, rain, and thunder/lighting. It only lasted less than a 1/2 hour but that was long enough for me.
No damage for me.

Big line of storms. They came to our house but yet again the valley saved us. A large cell was just starting to rotate as it approached the ridge, then dropped into the valley and lost it's spin. Then went right over our property. Powerful stuff, no damage here. Although I haven't been down the driveway to see if there are any trees down.

Glad you, your gal and the pooches are OK. I don't pay much attention to the world around me sometimes, sucks I know but it works for me. I get glimpses of it during Good Morning America as I get dressed for work. Again glad you are OK and Micky-T oh so glad you Bic and Luca are OK too.

I'm glad to hear that you're okay. We were pretty much glued to the television for most of the day. We used to live there and the radar showed it right over our old neighborhood. Scary stuff.

How far is it if the crow has to drive a Chevy Malibu with a leaky front tire?

Oh my Gosh. I didn't know you were that close to Murphreesboro. Thank God you guys are okay. Yo udidn't get any damage or anything, did you? It just rained EXTREMELY hard here and we just had pea size hail. We did lose a substation out of Portland but other than that, our area was very lucky.

Hmm. My former employer had a plant in Murfreesboro. Wonder if they made it through....
