And I Wonder....

How can life be this wonderful? Even if all else fails and I still have a love this wonderful, I will be blissfully happy.

But having this level of happiness is scary.

How long can it last?

How long can it be this wonderful? I'm at three years and counting with the love of my life.

And frankly, it scares the hell out of me.

Don't be scared. Just accept each wonderful, blissful, beautiful day as it comes.

it can keep on going and going and going sorta like the energizer bunny just sit back and enjoy loving that woman as she loves you right back!

I agree. Just embrace happiness and revel in it!

I agree with the other comments. Embrace this wonderful love you've got. Move toward instead of against, which is what fear promotes.

I agree with you on this one. The times I realize "Things are pretty perfect right now" only mean that a let down is right around the bend.

Perfection is more scary for me than chaos.

It can go on forever if you both devote dedication and commitment to what you have together. Don't let a day go by without saying, "I love you" or "I appreciate you" at least once.

I have been w/ the Evil Twin for 18 yrs (married for 16) and it still takes my breath away just to look at him. :-)

It can last forever.

When those moments of fear hit, take a breath and remember you love your love now and she loves you now, and next thing you know it's two years later and you're loving her and she's loving you.

I think that momentary fear can be very helpful - makes us focus on what we have. If you're not mired in fear, it's working for you.

Hubs and I will be at 25 years next month. It may not always be "wonderful" but it is true and is forever; and mostly "wonderful"

Well, I'll just repeat what my wife said on the Jewish New Year eve: "Here's to the next 5770 years, Planet Earth."

Don't let anything scare you. Like Bill Hicks said, It's just a ride. Enjoy it.

Hold on for dear life, and don't forget to stretch. You know...for the hurdles to come. We all get them, it's just a matter of time. I need to not be so scared of those hurdles... I'm completely in the same boat as you. Cept I'm at 4 years and I'm not a lesbian. So it's sorta the same boat. More like I'm a paddle boat and you're a canoe. Or something like that.

I often have similiar worries with my Ron. How often can I pull the wool over the man's eyes, how many years? This year is 9 married, 11 together, and it's still good.

Sometimes love just happens.

Take it from me that you can get sick and suddenly your wonderful life will turn to crap IMMEDIATELY. It could happen to anyone at any time. Unless you take advantage of this one time offer and send me $49.95, or three easy payments of $39.95.

Just enjoy it!

Goodness girl...I do understand...I mean - how the hell, at 53 could I have found the person I have been looking for my whole life...and at 55 joining together with her forever...

As others have said - just enjoy it...don't waste time worrying why it has happened!
