I'm A Nervous Wreck

Today, I started using online banking for the business. Like I just transferred $43,218.00. I'm not sure what worries me more... that I could screw it up or that people like my ex-boss the bank robber are out there trying to find ways to take my money.

Now, I'm not *such* a dinosaur that I don't use online banking. I do for my little personal pittance. But now, I'm playing with other people' money and LOTS of it! I'm in the big leagues.

There will definitely be wine on the porch this afternoon. Lots of wine. I'm considering drinking my dinner at this point.

Stop looking at the number and look at the task. In reality the 43 grand isn't much.

You can do this! :)

No worries I was more paranoid than you when I first started online banking.

7 years later no problems (knock on wood)

Once you set up bill pay it's sure nice never having to buy stamps.

the good news is, with proper security precautions, you shouldn't ever have a problem...and if you do, tracing it to the source is so, so, so much more simpler with online banking. Stop stressing...but go ahead and have that wine ;)

It'll be fine I'm sure!

I'm sure you've already taken precautionary measures and that the worries will subside. Unless, of course, you want to share all the account info with us LOL ;)

my favorite drink - an alabama slammer - has enough calories in it that it COULD be a meal :)!

After you drink dinner, e-mail me all the details of your account so I can, um, help protect you. Yeah. That's it.

Now all we need is a computer programmer that can skim off fractions of pennies at a time and we could be RICH. Wait, that didn't work in that movie did it...

I don't blame you. I can't bring myself to do it and I'm only speaking for my personal account. Anyone hacks into my computer there isn't a darn thing on there anyone would want :)

Lose the paper and drink the vino! YES!

If your computer is secure, no worries..

What kind of wine?

Why, I would be happy to help you out! Just send me the account number and pin and let Sky Dad take care of everything... ;^)

i dont blame you.. being responsible for moving around that much money would get me alittle shaky too.

I used to date a banker. She never stressed because she only saw numbers, not dollars. Still, I'm sure I'd be quite trepidatious the first few times working the task.

Anyway, enjoy your wine. I've love to join you in that.

In Europe, nearly everything is done by bank transfer. I love it! Don't worry, it'll be fine!

There's always the gut wrenching fear of hitting the wrong button isn't there? :0

There's nothing wrong with a liquid meal.

I'm like you - money matters make me insane. Get that drink!

I would LOVE to play with other people's money! I wouldn't have to fret that there wasn't enough of it.

How's the wine??

We have a $250K limit on transfers with our bank, so I can only screw up a quarter of a million dollars at a time *wink*

What Grant said! LOL

We only have a very small pay pal account on line. Nothing else of importence. We can't help it, better being safe than sorry. Just because all these new convinices are being presented, doesn't mean we have to use them.
I'm sure many people were afraid to put "electric" appliances in their kitchen for awhile. ha ha ha

use a really really good firewall.

avg is a highly recommended one.

But I like what the person on the first comment up here said..don't look at the number,..look at the task and how much money you're helping your company based on time management itself==by ebilling..
