Where's my Xanax again?

To say that I'm totally flipped out is such an understatement. I'm feeling so...well High Fucking Maintenance. I must have my styling mousse. And lotion. And and and and and....Then there's the logical side of me that has looked at the weather in Bolivia and sees that it will be rainy every day. I suppose that's why they call it "rainy season."

In typical Libra fashion, I am torn between looking decent in my vacation pics and carrying the Paul Mitchell Mousse and saying fuck.it.all and having my hair fly back in wings circa 1976. But I will. I'll just have to find a way to pack it all.

Then there's the flight. Whatever will I wear? Leaving Nashville tomorrow at 2pm @ 47 degrees. Brrr. Arriving in Miami at 5pm @ 82 degrees and rain. Then arriving in La Paz, Bolivia @ 7am Friday morning @46 degrees.

Am I really this high maintenance all the time? Say it ain't so!

P.S. If you wanna be in the drawing for the South American prize, comment in the post below. It's sure to be something fabulous! Dried llama fetuses are the new black. It's for real, ya'll.

I can't bring myself to click that link...I just love llamas too much.
Bring the mousse. You'll probably never use it (or maybe you will, once or twice), but you'll feel better having it with you. High maintenance? I don't know. Don't worry too much about it. :)
Have a great time!

Unless you're backpacking, take the mousse. Leave the hair dryer behind. Take the Xanax. Leave the wrist watch. You'll find when you get there you won't need a watch. Everytime you look at your wrist for the time, take a deep breath and look around you. Take your camera. Take pictures of what you see.

Have a great trip Lynn. Safe travels.

I so agree with seraphine! Shrug off this place and just embrace where you are at the moment. I can't help but think of how you'll likely get 'sensory overload'....your eyes will see so many interesting and beautiful things it'll be hard for your brain to sort it all out. Ooooo....what an exciting time....enjoy!!

If it spews all over your stuff in flight then you will be pissed you brought it. You are there to have fun not to pose for pictures. (take lots not pose for any). :)

Be care free and have fun. (but be safe)

I hope your having a wonderful time and you left all the hair stuff home...simplier is better, less stressful and easier.

Now I just gotta tell me that when I attempt to shove all my crap into my carryon for my upcoming FL vacation..........

Anxiously awaiting your return! Can't wait to hear your stories about your trip. Personally, I feel like I've been on a trip for the past week - knee surgery followed by lots and lots of Mepergan make for lots of tripping, in more ways than one.

Take care and come home safely!

Try not to catch anything your "immunization" shots didn't cover.

Take a deep breath and just ENJOY yourself. You dont need all that crap. You look good and you will look even better if you are relaxed in pics, happy and having a fantastic time! Holidays and adventures arent about worrying too much about styling.
Have a great time! X
