LOOK!!!! A Lemming!
Since Dana did it, I wanted to do it. I'm a copy cat! And there you have it friends, my Classic Movie Test results. Now you know why I'm headed off to La Paz, Bolivia home of the Road of Death and to who knows where after that.
I really want to go to Lake Titicaca. I mean, just so I can say Lake Titicaca. I know, I'm 12.
After much discussion, and I do mean endless pouring over maps and figuring out how far it is from here to there and IS there a railway....we still have no clue exactly where we're going.
I have been told by my girl that there will be no eating of guinea pigs. I've never owned a pet guinea pig, but the pic below secured the fact that I will not be ordering
I have most everything packed, but I still need a few things. It occurred to me this morning that I leave in TWO days. Breathe. Not that they don't have stores if I forget something, but I want my OWN toothpaste, my favorite soap, etc. One last trip to Target and I'll be ready! Yeah, right.

Yeh, they might be cute and all, but guinea pigs qualify as rodents in my book, and I'm NOT eating one. Ew.
By the way, on your last post (I am behind a bit in my reading), I first read "a pill for ATTITUDE sickness" and I was all "Damn! Where can I get some of those?"
Biscuit: If I have some left over...I'll send 'em straight up there to ya! You have no idea how badly I needed those when I was 13! Would have saved me that last ass whoopin'!
EEGADS! If you change your mind and decide to eat that thing, don't tell us about it!!
TWO DAYS!! I hope you have a fantastic time!
... and lemmings too!
My friend says take lots of zip lock bags of different sizes. They are just handy to have. (for guinea pig leftovers)
Guinea Pigs....ewwwww!! They told us about that in the military...but I never really believed, and I didn't have a picture of it to look at.
I don't think I can handle Chinese for lunch now...
Lake Titicaca...snicker, snort
It's fun being 12!
Raven: The green sprig doesn't make it appetizing for ya?
Jeff: Precisely why I like all ya'll!
I would have to pass on the guinea pig too! The rest looks like great fun! :)
Yah, I'd starve down there. But it would be soooo worth it!
If I had a choice to either eat the guinea pig or ride that bus up there the choice would be easy... serve me up some rodent treats!
There is NO WAY I would ever go on a bus ride on that cliff up there... my butt cheeks clench just from viewing the picture...
I'm really sad about that guinea pig . . .
I know, I know, different customs, but still I am sad. Then they have to go add insult to injury by giving it a hat and wheels. That's just wrong.
The bus looks scary and don't get me started on the bicyclers.
Have a beautiful and safe trip!
Woah, in 2 days! Ok! This is my official "Have-a-great-trip-take-lots-of-pictures-see-as-much-as-you-can-and-have-a-blast-while-keeping-yourself-safe" message. :)
Wow, gimme a trip on that road ANYDAY! I loves me some high places! As for the guinea pig, I could be persuaded to try it. I'm a guy that way. When I was a kid, even the local weatherman used to make jokes when he'd talk about South America and Lake TittyyyyyCaaaaacaaaaa! He'd actually say it like that!...Ahh the good old days when there was only 3 channels..
Take care and disfrutale sus viajes!! (I think)
