Friday morning at 5am, I'll be on my way to Newark, NJ. I'll get to stay for 3 hours. Then from 12:10pm until thirteen hours later, I'll be on a plane. It really hit home last weekend when I saw A Chorus Line and had to sit still for two hours.
It reminds me of the hellish bus trip from Peru to Bolivia that I took two years ago. And I suppose it's time to relearn that lesson.
Shut up and suck it up.
I'll see you all in about 18 days!
P.S. I'll bring you something back. But you only get in the drawing if you leave a comment or give me 60,000 Continental Airlines points. Then you'll zoom right to the top of my list 'cuz I'll be in First Class!

Sorry, can't help you out with the airline miles. I've only flown (in an airplane) once.
I also have no FFM's, but I do have a comment.
It's times like this that you wish teletransportation had been perfected as a mode of tranport, right?
I have some advice for ya - get up and walk around on the plane. 13 hours of sitting is an invitation to a hospital stay!
Having said that, have fun!!! : )
Yes, do walk around on the plane, please.
You are going to do great!! Wish I could help you with the miles. Good luck and have a really wonderful time. I LOVE China.
xo!
It's gonna be an awesome trip!
love the way you have presented the post with us.
Well, I had better leave a comment then because I think I have 6 frequent flyer miles ...
Last time I was on a plane, they didn't have points (30 years ago!). Haha! I concur with the others - please walk around a bit, stretch your legs, etc. Above all, have a GREAT time!
You are going to have SUCH a great time! Enjoy every minute... can't wait to see the pics!
I think your FF deserves a trinket regardless. :) Going to miss you TONS!!!
If you see any poor C-bunnies who dream of marrying a rich American, lie to them for me.
Sorry, no airline miles. Damn! I do hope you have a smooth and safe trip!
Take a baby asprin a few days before, and the day of the flight, wear some firm fitting support hose, and by all means get up and walk around every hour or so. Also frequent calf stretching exercises while seated are good. Have a great time! You lucky girl!
